Photographing Hotel Rooms at Hilton Frankfurt Airport
Arrival and Planning
We arrived in Frankfurt a day before the shoot to get familiar with the hotel’s layout and finalize our shot list. Since both Hilton hotels are located directly at the airport, we started by reviewing the suites we would be photographing the next day. Thanks to the thick glass façade that shields the building from the highway noise, the rooms are completely silent — but this also slightly mutes the view in backlight. That’s why we scheduled these shots for the morning, when the natural light and the green scenery are at their best.
Hotel Room Photography with Natural Light
We began with the suites, making the most of the morning light. Wide shots, close-ups, and detail compositions were all part of our plan. These detail shots work especially well as social media content and visual fillers. Bed linens, no matter how carefully ironed, always require some retouching — but our goal is always to keep the final result photo-realistic and clean.

Wellness & Sauna Photography
Next came the newly renovated wellness area. We photographed the sauna and steam room without any guests present, which is ideal for wellness visuals. We used soft lighting to keep the atmosphere intact and emphasized the textures of the materials in post-production.

Hotel Food Photography
After wellness, we moved to the food setup. The hotel offers several catering options for conferences and events, and the kitchen staff prepared a full display just for the shoot. We photographed wide shots and detail close-ups of the dishes to showcase the quality and variety of the offerings.

Renovated Room Photography for Fall Campaign
In the afternoon, we photographed one of the newly renovated rooms that is scheduled to open officially in September. The design reflects a modern and cozy atmosphere, with careful attention to detail. These images will serve as the foundation for the hotel's upcoming fall marketing campaign.

Upcoming Projects
We’ll return to complete that session later this year. After the full day of shooting, we decided to explore Frankfurt in the evening instead of heading home right away.
